Glen Lake

We went to Glen Lake last weekend with the Ostyn's. Cooper got to spend time with his cousins although he was pretty attached to his mommy. He enjoyed swimming in the lake and playing on the sand. We also went to the dunes and he thought it was the coolest sandbox ever. He also experienced his first Superman Icecream Cone. He thought it was okay, he prefers vanilla. He did have his 1 year doctors appointment and weighed 23 pounds 6 ounces and 31 inches long. He is a tall, skinny little boy. Doing well in all areas, except for being nice to the doctor!!

Cooper's Party!

Cooper had his official 1st Birthday Party yesterday. We had about 38 people! It was a lot of fun. Cooper once again enjoyed his cake. He also enjoyed everyone singing to him. He got a lot of great gifts that he is excited about playing with. Uncle Dustin came from Florida and my Cousin Troy and his family came from Wisconsin. It was a pretty special day!

Cooper turned 1!!!

Cooper had his first birthday yesterday. He spent the day with grandma and we had dinner over there. He was pretty funny with his cake. He loved it as you can tell by the pictures. His big party is Saturday.

Wedding in Wisconsin

My cousin Jeremy and his wife Kelly were married last weekend. We flew to Wisconsin to celebrate. Cooper had a good time at the wedding and he was truly impressed with the band. He did pretty well on the plane with only a couple screaming episodes. The Chicago Airport had a little children's museum so he could play during the layover. Here are some pictures.

Weekend

Well we did not go see the fireworks this year. Maybe next year Cooper will be able to stay up past 8! He did have fun though at the park. He loved the tree fort and playing with the trucks. Balls are his favorite though. That is all he talks about and everything is a ball, including the cantelope we bought at the grocery store. He also got to eat his first ice cream cone and he loved it. He shoved the last part of the cone all in his mouth.
